He has taught at a special school for 10 years, training many enthusiastic groomers.
Now, he shares his knowledge by running private training courses, where he shares his expertise and passion for this challenging but rewarding profession. His journey began at the age of 16, when he discovered grooming. But it was meeting fellow enthusiast Rony De Munter that marked a turning point in his career. Together, they developed a real passion for handstripping, a traditional and meticulous grooming technique that is particularly suited to certain breeds of dog.
They then started their own business together, called The Sentinel, which quickly became a model for other grooming businesses. By working hard and being dedicated, Thierry and Rony have helped to improve and modernise the profession, while also respecting traditional techniques like handstripping. Their legacy continues to inspire a new generation of groomers around the world.
